To my best friends...who I miss dearly

“I love my friends, and even more, how they make me feel. I like the Saturdays I spend with them and our 2-hour lunches at McDonald’s. I like how we say ‘tara na’, but then no one wants to get up, so we end up staying longer, for more hours. I like how we cried begging our parents for a sleepover. I like it when someone goes, and everyone goes too. I like how we make fun of each other. I like it when one of us sings a song out loud, and the lyrics are wrong. I like how we share perfume. I like how we go to unplanned trips. I like how our group studies turn out to be food-fests. I like how we always always eat. I like how we laugh at our laughs. I like how we’re not afraid to laugh and how we always laugh out loud. I like how we can’t keep secrets to each other. I like how we don’t make each other do bad things…alone ♥”

I actually wrote that a very long time ago - on Thursday, November 11, 2010 to be exact, while I was probably in a very happy mood. I’m reposting it today because I’m not feeling very happy, to be honest I haven’t been in a long time, and I really want to remember how it’s like to be that happy again.

It's reunion time!

Still smiling (and taking photos) even after an unlucky day (heavy rain + blackout, anyone?).
Nicole, who shamelessly dance dared people at the mall. Haha!
We just had to try the photobooth.
Each of us got wings, too. :)
And of course, what is a sleepover without an embarrassing sleeping photo?

Just touched home

Literally. We arrived at my hometown at around 2:15 and left at 4:40. Brother had to go to the dentist, and so he did, while I killed time at the mall with my girl, Nicole, who by the way was really rockin those magenta lips. ;-)
Afterwards, we paid a short visit to my lovely mother. We didn't stay long because we thought it was going to rain (it didn't). Then we spent an hour waiting for our order at Miko's Brew. So the city's favorite coffee shop still has bad service, eh.
And then we went home (to our other home).

Another day, another coffee to pay

If you are ever going to Kangaroo, pretty please do not try their hot White Chocolate Mocha. It's addictive.
In the middle is Vade's hot Mocha drink. She finds it equally perfect.

One Can't Have Too Much Coffee

My friend and I spent the afternoon at this coffee shop which has a cabinet-full of gospel books, an entire chandelier of eyeglasses and a chill rest room. A group of white med students with a boatload of hardbound references, laptops and Kindles abused their stay, too. They were already there when we arrived, and they were still there when we left. They read so much, it was scary.

Anyhoo, both my internet and telephone lines are being such bitches, and the next week is already finals week, so I hope the coffee shops don't mind my overstaying.

Cheers!
